CHITRAPUR TERCENTENARY COMMEMORATION SCHOLARSHIPS

These scholarships will be awarded to the eligible students from the Chitrapur Saraswat Community. These scholarships will be prestige and recognition rather than just financial aid. These  scholarships will be awarded in the following categories:
                Vocational Education
                Undergraduate
                Postgraduate Education

The number of scholarships will be :
                3 Vocational (including one for veidic studies)
                3 Undergraduate
                1 Postgraduate

The first set of scholarships will be presented by H.H. Sadyojat Shnkarashram Swamiji during the closing ceremonies in December 2008 in Shirali. The annual scholarships will then be mailed to the recipients. Successful recipients will be announced in Sunbeam as well as Kanara Saraswat Magzine.
